Sale bargains and new season stock – it’s a great time to go shopping in Uckfield. Here are some of the things you will find in and around town during September.

Something for Everyone is stocked up ready for Uckfield Carnival which takes place next weekend.
There will be light-up and glow-in-the-dark toys, fun snaps, drinks and sweets available at a stall outside the shop.
Something for Everyone is also pleased to have received a licence to sell fireworks all year round so their side window at the moment is all about carnival and fireworks, see below.

New sofas on their way at SG Home Interiors
New sofas are expected to arrive soon at SG Home Interiors in Bell Farm Lane, Uckfield, along with new lighting.
In the meantime there is still a sale of ex-display sofas and of showers if you are looking for bargains.

New stock at Carvills
New stock at Carvills includes Treaty Jewellery which is handmade in silver plate without the use of irritants such as lead, nickel, or cadmium. The jewellery is particularly suitable for customers who may be allergic to these base metals.
Pioneering use of .925 silver in the plating process achieves a burnished silver finish and, with each piece crafted by hand, quality is guaranteed.

New bedding has arrived at Carvills too. There’s a William Morris design featuring stylised pomegranates and Indian-inspired motifs. The Little Chintz iconic design adorns the luxurious Morris & Co bedding and comes in a teal and orange colour way. It is 100% cotton, 220 threat count.
There’s also a beautifully bold collection by Joules celebrating Great British Bird. This too is 100% cotton and has a reverse understated rainbow strip to add a fresh and bright feel to your sleeping space.

Soon to arrive are ‘Katie’ hats from Powder Accessories. They will be available in three autumn colours. Look out too for the new ‘Roman Rabbit’ scarf. More designs will be arriving throughout September and October.

Final reductions at PipeDreams
PipeDreams, the snow, surf and skate shop, has made final reductions on items in its sale. At the same time there are plenty of back packs ready for the return to school and there is new ladies fitness clothing.
There are still some flip flops and beach shoes if you are planning a late summer holiday.
Do check out the variety of stock, owners David and Julie Hobbs, say people are still surprised by the ranges available – you need to see for yourself.
In the meantime skateboards are selling well again. Julie says there has been a resurgence of interest in the sport among both boys and girls.
